Hiking at Bogd Khan Mountain

Bogd Khan Mountain, overlooking the city is one of the most scared mountains in the country. It is also considered as the oldest protected natural zone in the world. Even during the 13th century, logging and hunting was prohibited in the mountain range. Ecologically, it is also the southern most Siberian type ecosystem, before the Gobi desert begins. Rich with natural habitats and forest lives, the mountain is perfect place for a day long hike. Our trekking is aimed at climbing the tallest of the mountain, the “Tsetsee Gun” Peak (2,268).
